I’m considering getting a beagle but I was just wondering, I know beagles tend to ‘cry’ or whine you’re not home , can you train them or help them so it doesn’t happen and so they don’t bark too much? 🙂 Love your doggie though, made for some good puppy therapy ! 🙂
Thanks! Oliver did cry the first few times we left him at home alone. But he seemed to get used to it and now he hardly cries at all. I don’t know if that is typical, however. When we are away we leave him in his crate with a few of his favorite toys and one or two treats. He seems to like his crate and he often goes in there on his own, so I don’t think he sees it as a punishment.
also, try to put a soft music as background. it helps hem calm down
My puppy doesn’t bark if he knows we are out if the house, if he sees us get into another room he will bark and whine till he gives up… (That last one is sad but we have to do that…)
This is another outstanding adventure film for my pal Oliver. He is so enjoyable to watch. You have established a wonderful relation with such an intelligent and gentle beagle.
