To help HOWL OF A DOG rescue more homeless dogs & find forever homes please visit Zuzi was a stray dog living in the parking area of a company. Her rescue was quite a difficult mission because she had some very traumatizing experiences with the dogcatchers who tried to catch her and their methods were rather brutal. Fortunately, they didn’t manage to catch her (had they succeeded she would have ended in the city’s pound), but the experience left her with a trauma and she panicked and ran away every time we got nearer and tried to catch her. Using a catch pole was out of the question because that would have traumatized her even more, so that’s why we decided to administer her a tranquilizer.
Zuzi is learning now to trust people again and she’s making progress. She’s friendly with other dogs and cats and loves to be cuddled. She’s also learning to walk on a lead, but she’s not very interested in walks or exploring new territories and prefers the safety of a garden/fenced in yard.
Estimated age 4 yrs, vaccinated, microchipped.

UPDATE: We have some very happy news: Zuzi was adopted and will be living from now on in Canada. Her adoptive family came to Romania and they returned to Canada with one extra passenger: Zuzi 🙂
Zuzi’s adoptive family knew the situation dogs from Romania have to deal with everyday and the suffering they have to endure, so they decided to adopt a dog and save a life.
We want to thank all of you for sharing Zuzi’s story and thus helping us find her a home! Here is Zuzi at her forever home:

Sharing means caring, so thank you again for spreading the word and helping Zuzi find such a loving home!

    1. Howl Of A Dog – are you sure she is safe there in that home? Most people or a lot of people in Canada hate dogs!! Just want to make sure- many dogs end up enduring life outside chained up with little care. I’m not trying to say any negative thing about her new family but Zuzi is such a cute dog and I’d ask for pictures every six months of so. If you don’t believe me ask Animal Advocates .org I think. tHey rescue many dogs there that almost die out in people back yards exposed to cold for decades, they cut the chains and take them after giving owners a chance to take care of them. But If like to support your rescue group, just be careful what countries your letting your sweet homeless dogs end up at in their forever home!💝💝💝🐶🐶🐶 😔😔 😊😊
      P. S. Ill try and start a donation in a couple months. I’ve been meaning too!

    1. Even tho they disliked, doesn’t mean that they should jump off a cliff and die, because we don’t want people to die 😡😡😡

    2. Anyone taking the time to dislike these types helpless animal videos is doing so due the fact they are in a vast amount of internal pain. As awful as it is that’s why do it. If they actually cared even somewhat about themselves they would able to express healthy empathy for beautiful helpless animal such as this. This dog & others have an innate desire to give & receive love from human beings it’s wired in them. That’s why it tears me apart to see dogs get mistreated when all they want to do is express unconditional love towards us. 😢

    1. Demolicious51 In India,Indian people won’t buy adopt dog which is street dog..Indian people can buy for healthy dog and good quality…good price..

  2. Me and my brothers we save a little puppy 🐶 her mom abandoned her we save her we give it to my brother’s friend

    1. Romania very bad place to be a dog .thank goodness rhe little poppet is safe with nice people in beautiful canada thank you xx

    2. The size of a lovely home is not important when you go out enough. Most important is the love and care of the dogs

  3. Every single person involved in this rescue deserves everything good in life! You all are Angels with hearts of gold! Thank you! xoxo ❤🐶🐾😾👼💘💋🌞

  4. Unlike humans all they need is a chance. If you try to help a human you can come home to a cleaned out house or worse. I hestitate in trusting any humans..yet I can always predict exactly how my dogs will react.Even if its in a bad way…trying to run away into the irrigation canal in August is understandable and predicted. Killing another dog for no reason would never happen…and hasnt.

  5. I think that for all us who have pets, this channel is like a reminder that even if sometimes our pets bother us, by waking us up, or making a mess, we love them more than anything. It’s good to remember that a relationship with a pet is deeper than just “we feed them so they like us”, and that we can impact their lives, for the better (or worse, sadly). In the end, it feels nice to know that even if we can’t solve the world’s big problems, like hunger or poverty, we can end this single animal’s problems and help them be happy, by loving them, giving them a home and sharing a deep bond with them.
