Read the full written instructions here:

A crate isn't a full time babysitter for your pet, but rather a tool that should be used until your dog has been completely housetrained. Learning how to stop a dog from pooping in a crate is an essential part of crate training your pooch.

"If you feed your pet at the same time every day, he's going to need to use the bathroom at about the same time every day. When you keep a consistent schedule, you'll be able to ensure that you (or someone else) are home to let your dog out when he needs to go."

    1. She will after she realizes her only choice is either go starving or eat the dry food. But, you will have to be patient though that’s the hardest part.

  3. What do you do if your dogs goes potty and still when you come home 2 hrs later there is still pee and poop in the kennel? She even lays in it and doesn’t care. Been to vet, healthy dog.

  5. You don’t push on a dog’s rear end to get it to sit down, especially a Lab who is more prone to develop hip dysplasia.

  8. I took my puppy from a dog foster home about a year ago. I love him to bits; he has a great personality, and I feel that he loves our family so much. BUT, whenever I leave him at home he pees in the house: on the carpet, on the bed, on flowers… My husband and I were thinking about taking him to ‘doggy school’, but then again, it’s extremely expensive, and the nearest ‘doggy school’ is far away from us. Maybe you have some advice? THANK YOU!!!!

    1. Slammy Dunk same here I have the same issues I can take my dog out every 20 mins if I’m off work he still manages to pee in his crate he won’t use it on the floor only on his crate

    2. mine will poop in her crate even if the crate is not too big she will go on the pad in the bathroom or even on the carpet and hardly potties outside. She is almost 1 and I’ve had her since she was 5 weeks. Sooooooo frustrating!!!!
