  1. This was very helpful, thank you. I am bringing home a new puppy at the end of the month and I have a 9 year old dog…so it’s been a while since I’ve potty trained. We didn’t do the crate training with her, per se, so this is very helpful.  🙂 Thank you

    1. +Gone to the Snow Dogs  my puppy was in her little kennel  and she peed in the kennel on her bed war she sleeps and when we got home she was soaking wet this pee. how do i keep her from doing that so we don’t have to give her baths all the time?

    2. ok thanks but we did take her out before we put her in and she was in for an hour or 2 because we went downtown so she just needed to go i guess and thanks for the help:)

  2. All I ever hear is don’t get a husky as your 1st dog and how bad they are to train.

I just got a husky and she is my 1st dog… Ever.

I watched a few of your videos and read up on crate training and potty training her.

She’s 6 weeks old, she was rejected by her mum, I’ve so far got her on dry food, she eliminates out side, goes in her crate when told to go bed, sits, gives paw and sits and waits for her food.

If I was to tell any one who wants a husky, don’t listen to the craps people put on them there lovely dogs!

    Thanks for your videos.

    1. I’m getting a puppy soon! First time ever! And I’m soooo scared!! Lol but your comment made me feel better thank you!!

  3. This video is really good with explaining how to crate your puppy. I’m getting a six week old puppy today and I am in charge of crate/ potty training him. -_-

I love this video and will request that my family watches it too. Thanks!

    1. +The Glass Six weeks is to early, you are going to end up with a lot of issues!  Wait the xtra two weeks, ad let that dog finish learning some needed things from it’s mom and siblings.

    2. Thank you for this video.  This really is a good video.  I loved the little pointers also like the peanut butter and putting his food in the crate to encourage him to go in. I Highly Recommend watching this video if you are crate training.

    1. shopkins yay Delgado yes are you talking about Shiloh if so unfortunately yes Oakley and Shelby are still alive and so is Memphis

  4. Love your videos.  I used your training method last year for my Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Now I have a 8 weeks old Husky name Loki.  Time to use your great training method for him too.

    1. +MochiAkira very useful video yet i found another way for potty training your puppy in the winter. go and search in google for’ Renkarter puppy course report ‘. You will get what you need.

    2. +MochiAkira hello there.. I am thankful enough for I have viewed this video and find out lots of knowledge how to house train a crating a puppy while . I have also known a very helpful resource about this at Renkarter puppy course report . You can try to google it now.

    3. +MochiAkira hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to discover what is best way to house train a puppy try Alkarno Puppy Alchemist (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.

    1. When my fox terrier was a puppy the size of my hand, I let him sleep next to me and then one morning I woke up with dog feces in my hair… So grossssss

    2. Of course! If your dog will behave, yes, yes, yes. It’s much nicer for them than the kennel. My one dog slept in her kennel for a few days while I slept in or next to it with her, and then once she got the idea that she has to scratch to go out she slept in my bed every night. 🙂

    3. I tried to get my almost 4 month old husky to sleep with me and it’s impossible 😂😂 she jumps on my face and tries to chew on my pillows and looks for cords to chew on. For your puppy’s safety I wouldn’t 😅

  5. I have a 6 year old dog (72 months) and I figured she could hold her bladder for about three days because of your tip and I went away for two days and when I came back there was poop everywhere :/ . Lol jk

  6. I have a 8 week old husky, I make a huge crate in my back yard , I leave food and water. I go to school and my parents work , so I leave him there about 7 hours , he started crying at first but his getting used to it

  7. Thank you! This helped but I won’t get home till 2:45 pm (8:00-2:45) will my dog be fine if I take her out before and after school?

    1. +SFGamingCats They think that 8-10 hrs is okay but more than 11 is too much, it really depends on their age because if she is young she will have an accident in her crate

    2. And a little tip for you, if she does have an accident in your crate while you’re gone, remove the smell of her/his pee.. because if she or he smells it then it will entice them to pee there again. Personal Experience with my uncle’s dog xD

  8. Do you leave the crate empty at night? No dog bed or pillows etc, no toys? What about when you leave the house? Do you always cover the crate to make it dark?

    So many questions ,thanks!

  9. Thanks for this! it was a great help, i was so worried about how to train a puppy, I haven’t got my dog yet but this was a great help. How do you clean the cage and its surrounding area if the dog has done its business?

    1. I love you too and you got a good dog 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕

    1. Hey there. So this is so this is a common misconception popularized by traditional dog trainers that rely on tools to make life unpleasant when their dog does not perform as desired. Here’s a video that will explain the dominance myth: ==>

  10. My puppy gives me the death scream when he goes in the crate…. btw my sister wanted to named the puppy after oakly but we chose cooper because that would be copying
