  1. I just got your letter today and……how did I not find this channel yet?! Great work dude. I love your enthusiasm on the project and the narration. I really enjoyed this. Thanks.

    1. I like the way they make big dog house then paint the dog house I love it. it makes me want to make one if I get a dog it will be awesome

    2. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹y 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼nn 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀ss >> https://t.co/YSI7q2P4iX?gert56fddas

  2. Do you have to use this type of wood? Or can u go for something a little more thinner? I’m trying make a cat house as weird as it sounds.

  3. Myself, a framer for many years ,,you learn tricks to make the job look better…Like putting the saw blade on backwards when cutting plexiglass and vinyl siding ,for clean looking cuts…Also wear safety glasses !!!

    1. interesting would each that video for sure. I’d never use it but i love those kinds of videos.

I’d never use it cause I don’t build much…if at all.

    1. I live in the most south part of texas and during the winter my dog stays outside since It doesn’t get to cols and when it gets colder we gave a nice warm cozy dog house for him in the garage. but he lives the cold.

    2. if it’s a double fur coat dog that’s typically for cold environments like huskies, pyrennes etc it will have no problem in a kennel

    3. Rest In Piss Christina Grimme dogs actually do well in winter. Don’t stick your Chihuahua out there but most medium to larger dogs enjoy it. My Aussie mix loves being outside no matter the season

    4. EmiTube  Straw not blankets. Blanket’s will get wet but straw usually don’t.Straw make’s good bedding for animal’s and make things better in the winter.Something I learned growing up around outdoor dogs.

    1. Do the same thing, maybe corner block or at least add some L-brackets top, center, and bottom of each corner for strength. Maybe for cats, make it taller than it is wide, and put 3-4 “floors” in, about 18”- 2’ high each, and cut an alternating hole at least 9” around in each floor, so they can easily jump up to the next level, cross over, and go up another floor. (If the holes aligned above each other, they’d not be able to do that.). You can add an angled beach for climbing lip, but the holes work fine for most cats. Then, use 4”x4” posts to cut a good 8” for feet to keep it all off the ground and out of the rain and snow. 4 feet for a smaller one like 3-4’ square,, 6 feet for one bigger than that.

I’ve made a few shelters, I angled the roofs slightly to have a sloping roof to keep rain and snow off, painted them on the outside only, tossed shingles on the top, and in 2 of them, some scrap carpet.thr make good shelters and feeding stations (not the same in one structure, they need to be away from the food to get used for a shelter), They love them, especially nice for winter or to get out of the heat in summer. You can add windows so they can watch the yard and keep an eye out for trouble, but have a way to sleep away from the windows. I keep mine in shadier areas.

If you’re worried about plastic window materials chipping when cutting, just cut them larger than the hole and duct tape them in place in the inside. The cats don’t care. But they’ll like the view.

Mine are super heavy, bc I framed in the bottom, part of the top, and corner blocked them all, but they are very sturdy. Very. Sturdy. Indeed.

    1. Kalista Murchison I CANNOT believe the notification I just saw!! I have a notification that YOU originally left this comment: BACK THE **** OFF YOU *** ****************************8. You need to quit going on here and badgering people. You are the one who first came on here being mean to people. Get a life and quit siphoning off everyone else’s. Oh, it’s ****comment… Not comet.

  4. 8:10 you can clearly see sunlight coming through the floor at the back of the house. Nice build though 🙂

    1. Kt Stylinson how not… How can millions of people literally not be able to get a minimum wage job or use govt benefits? And if they live in south Africa then they better learn to cut down a fucking tree.
